Materials:
-
window squeegee
-
utility knife
-
satin paint for base coat (Doric White SW1151 )
-
satin paint for top coat (Roasted Almond
SW1143)
-
paintbrushes
-
rollers/paint trays
-
painter's tape
-
featured ceiling paint (Landscape SW1169)
Note: SW = Sherwin Williams Paint
Directions:
1. Tape-off any areas not to be painted (trim/ceiling). Apply the base
coat and let dry. Repeat if necessary/desired and let dry.
2. Cut the squeegee to mimic the grooves of bead board paneling (Figure
A).
3. Cut-in and roll on the top coat over a two to three foot wide area.
Immediately go to the wall and pull the squeegee straight down through
the paint before it dries (Figure B).
4. Continue across the wall in this fashion until you reach a corner. If
there isn't enough room for the squeegee, roll on more paint over the
area just completed so there's room for the full width of the squeegee.
