From cream felt, cut 1 rectangle that is 1/4" smaller on all sides than bottom layer (for top layer). 3. From moss felt, cut one 4", 2", 1-1/2" and 1" x 14-1/4" strips. Repeat for second mat. Trace one 3/4"-diameter circle onto 1-1/2" strip, approx 4-1/2" from top of strip. Trace three 1" diameter circles onto 2" strip. Place first circle 1/2" from top of strip, second 1/2" from bottom of strip and third 1" above second. Cut out circles. 3. Using all 6 strands of embroidery floss in needle, sew an outline of running stitches approx 1/8" away from each cutout circle. Repeat for second mat. Assembling: 1. Using fabric glue, adhere 4" strip approx 3/4" in from right edge of cream rectangle. Adhere 1-1/2" strip 2" in from 4" strip, 1" strip 1" in from 1-1/2" strip and 2" strip 3" in from 1" strip. 2. Using all 6 strands of embroidery floss in needle, embroider running stitches approx 1/4" to right and left of 4", 1-1/2" and 2" strips, as pictured. 3. Trace one 1-1/2"-diameter circle centered between 2" and 1" strips and approx 3-1/2" from bottom edge of cream rectangle; cut out. Embroider outline of running stitches 1/8" away from cutout circle. 4. Trace one 2-3/4" diameter circle 3-3/4" from top of cream rectangle and 1/2" in from left edge. Trace second 2-3/4"-diameter circle 1/4" below first; cut out circles. Repeat for second mat. Finishing: 1. Center cream rectangle on cotton candy rectangle and glue layers together to finish. 2.
