Creatina a Beautiful Cut Flower Arrangement |
|
|
Summer is a great time to find brightly colored
blooms to create a beautiful cut flower arrangement for your home.
Here are some flower varieties that make up pretty arrangements.
Be sure to cut the stems at an angle to keep the flowers hydrated!
Dahlia, Scented Geraniums, Zinnia, Perennial Salvia, Spray Roses, Teddy Bear Sunflower

 Dress
up plain white sheers by adding color panels to the same rod as
shown above. Place color panels on the ends or alternate color
and white panels for a stripe effect.

Tray Chic Project |

Cover
the interior sides of the tray with painter's tape (we wanted to leave
the sides unpainted, so the tape protected them from paint). Apply a
coat of gesso to the bottom of the tray. (Gesso is a primer that allows
the paint to adhere better to the surface of the wood.) Once the surface
is dry, apply a coat of white craft paint. (Allow both base coats to dry
completely -- at least an hour for each.)
