We welcome text links to quality websites that focus on anything related to Home Decor, Garden Decor, and Home Improvement.  Due to the time involved in having a quality link exchange program, we have found it necessary to enforce the following link exchange policies.

To become a link partner with The Home Decor Exchange, you must agree to the following terms:

• Add our text link to your website, as found below.  We will only exchange links with sites that already have our link activated.

• Our link must be placed on one of the first 5 of your links pages.  Placing our link on any page after that does not help your website visitors find us.

• Our link must be placed on the same URL as the link request.  We do not accept any kind of triangle linking.

• Please do not send us weekly or even monthly reminders.  We automatically delete any link exchange request that sends us multiple reminders.

• We update our links every 30 days (usually sooner).  If you do not hear back from us within 30 days, then your link request has been denied.

• We only exchange links with sites that relate to the home and garden.  We will not make any exceptions to this policy so please do not send us a link exchange request if you do not have a home and garden related website.

• We will not exchange links with any site that has non-family friendly links.  For example, if you have links that go to adult related sites, then we will not exchange links with you even if you have a home and garden website.

• We check reciprocal links on a regular basis.  If you plan to remove our link after we accept your link exchange, please don't request a link exchange with us.

Once our link has been added to your website, email us the following information:

1.  Your Name and Email address

2.  Website (link) Title

3.  Website URL

4.  A brief description of your website

5.  Link Partner Category to place your link in or suggest a new category  (click here for list)

6.  The URL to your links page where our link is located

Please note:  We are continually adding links and link partners to our directory.  Due to this growth, your link may be moved from Page 1 to Page 2, etc. depending on the title of your link.  All of our link partners are arranged in alphabetical order and we try to limit 25 links to a page for easier viewing of links.  So, if you check for your reciprocal link and it has been moved from the page we originally had your link placed on, please send us an email to inquire about your new placement or check your Category page for your listing in alphabetical order.  Please do not automatically remove The Home Decor Exchange as one of your reciprocal links - we will NOT delete your reciprocal link unless requested by the webmaster/owner of the website.

We will visit your website within 30-60 days (usually sooner) of receiving a Link Exchange request from you to be sure that your site is complimentary to The Home Decor Exchange.  We will send you an email once your Link has been activated on our website.  We also check reciprocal links on a regular basis.  If upon checking for our reciprocal link and we find that our link has been removed from your website, we will delete your link from our website permanently.

The Home Decor Exchange has the right to refuse any link exchange request.  Please do not submit sites that are not family friendly.  In addition, we do not participate in link farms or exchange links with sites where our link will not be in a visible location, i.e. on page 40 or 50, etc.
