Decorative Sunflower Balls

Materials:

  • 24 sunflowers (blossom approx. 3-1/2" across) for large ball or 3 bushes with 1-1/2" blossoms (approx. 85 blossoms) for small ball

  • 3" Styrofoam® ball for large, 2" for small
  • Sheet moss

Tools:

  • Craft glue or hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Wire cutters

Directions:

1.  Completely cover foam ball with sheet moss. Glue in place.

2.  Cut sunflower blossoms leaving 1" stem. Add glue to stem and firmly push into ball. If needed, add more glue at base of flower. Place blossoms close enough that petals push up against each other.

3.  Cover entire ball.
